Oliver Thompson Food is a food company, based between Cornwall and Surrey, specialising in luxury event catering, that takes pride in using the best seasonal and local produce available, cooked simply but with bold exciting flavours.
Oliver has over 15 years experience working in professional kitchens. From humble beginnings in the trade preparing canapés for the family events business to working in some of Europe's most inspiring and decorated kitchens, including Restaurant Nathan Outlaw in Cornwall, Le Petit Nice de Passedat in Marseille, Grand Hotel Timeo in Sicily and Bistro Bruno Loubet in London. Harriette is a Woldingham Alum (2000-2007) and runs the organisation side. She can often be found waitressing and washing up, inbetween her day job as an Estate Agent in Cornwall.

Oliver also has monthly residency teaching cookery classes at The Limpsfield Cookery School in Oxted, Surrey, owned by Harriette's mum, Jacqui. Classes aim at developing techniques for cooks of all abilities, as well as showcasing seasonal produce and creating simple yet refined dishes reminiscent of Michelin-starred restaurants.
With a broad range of classes on offer, from game in the autumn to middle-eastern bbq in the summer, as well as masterclasses in fish and meat cookery, there is no shortage of culinary inspiration.
