Support future generations through the School's bursary fund
The Woldingham School bursary programme transforms the lives of gifted young women. Fifteen students are currently benefitting from a funded place at Woldingham thanks to the generosity of our parents, alumnae and the wider Woldingham community.
Our aim is to offer 30 fully funded bursaries by 2030. To achieve this, we ask for your support. Whether you are supporting the general bursary fund, our Sixth Form scholarship fund or our emergency Ukrainian student bursary fund, your generosity, at whatever level, will change lives. Donations will be recognised with a personalised leaf on our stunning bronze bursary trees. You can donate from as little as £12.50 per month.
Our whole school community is at the heart of support for the bursary programme. Together we can make memories and transform the lives of future generations of Woldingham girls.
Transformational bursaries have a lifelong impact on students and their families. Here are some of their stories -
"Being Head Girl at Woldingham was wonderful because after seven years of growing and learning and being exposed to so many wonderful things, I had the opportunity to give back and share my experience with the younger girls and make them feel heard and loved…Woldingham changed my life. It made my life in a lot of ways and what I am doing now…Receiving a bursary was so important because none of what I have been achieving now, I couldn't have done it without Woldingham." - Rachel, bursary recipient, University of Cambridge graduate and former Woldingham Head Girl
"Our daughter greatly enjoyed studying at Woldingham School. She received a very high level of education and enjoyed amazing levels of support and encouragement. This gave her the opportunity to fulfil her dream of going to Oxford University. As a family, we remain utterly grateful for the good fortune. The Bursary Fund is without doubt a testimony to your commitment to inclusion, diversity and excellence." - Bursary recipient parent
"The Foundation isn’t just about bricks and mortar. It is about giving the opportunity to young, ambitious and smart girls who might not otherwise get the opportunity to come to Woldingham to be the best that they can be. I don’t see this as a ‘charitable act’ but more as an investment – an investment in young women who will grow up to make a difference and positive contribution to society." - Bursary donor and former parent
My time at Woldingham has shaped who I am today. I was fortunate that the school decided to offer me a bursary and so my dream was fulfilled and I went on to study at the University of Oxford. I am training to be a clinical psychologist and am looking forward to helping people just as I was inspired to do at Woldingham.
I'm so grateful for my time at Woldingham...it's a lovely place. It helped me to do well academically and get the grades I needed to get into medical school. I feel very lucky to have received a bursary to allow me to attend. I hope other people will have the same opportunities as I've had.

To join the 100 Club, complete this leaflet which explains more about the club.
On joining the school you will have paid a deposit to secure your daughter's place at Woldingham. When your daughter leaves the school you can choose to donate any remaining funds from this deposit in support of the Jayne Triffitt Bursary Award. This is a simple but meaningful way to make a gift to the Woldingham School bursary programme and support bright, young girls into the future.
Each year many parents have kindly donated in this way, creating a considerable annual donation from the families who leave the school that year. Gifts such as these are essential to sustain the award, allowing a new Year 7 Jayne Triffitt bursary recipient to benefit each and every year. The collaborative impact of many combined gifts, such as this, is truly transformational.
