At our recent Higher Education Conference, Lower Sixth students began the process of completing their UCAS applications, as well as initial drafts of their personal statement. Students heard from a range of highly informative speakers about the UCAS process, degree apprenticeships and student finance. A student liaison officer from King’s College, London gave them lots of advice on making competitive applications.
We were delighted to welcome back former Woldingham students, Tona, Emily, Grace, Desi, Izzy, Lase, Lily and Lelia to share their experiences of undergraduate life and studies. Bringing experience from a wide range of universities and courses, including veterinary science, politics and mechanical engineering, our alumnae offered insights and advice on an array of topics, including how to make the most of the university experience, wellbeing support, accommodation, managing on a budget, and clubs and societies. The students also enjoyed a Zoom call from alumna Eloise, who is currently working in the healthcare sector in Vietnam.
